Multan, Pakistan – Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has said that Pakistan is facing a difficult flood situation and assured that the nation will stand firmly with the victims in this time of hardship.Speaking at Circuit House Multan during a meeting with senior officials of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Gillani emphasized that the welfare and educational contributions of Anjuman Islamia for the people of Multan and South Punjab are unforgettable. He praised the institution’s community role and highlighted the annual arrangements on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) as a true reflection of public spirit.Gillani further stated that Gillani Law College, with its 10 PhD scholars, is a source of national pride. He also lauded the positive role of Pakistani media during the recent Pak-India conflict, acknowledging journalists’ contributions to national unity.Earlier, PFUJ President Rana Azeem, along with senior union leaders, met the Chairman Senate and shared their concerns regarding the PECA Act.Prayers were offered for the flood victims across Pakistan and for the soul of Syed Tanveer Hassan Gillani.
